CHENNAI: VinCom Inc, a US-based software services company having offices in Minnesota and Michigan, has set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Coimbatore.
The Indian start up has been initially funded for about Rs.50 lakhs by the parent company - which has a tie up with Dhal Consulting Inc of Minnesota, and SRC Systems of Georgia. A further investment of Rs.3 crores will be brought in the next 3-4 months to manage and promote the company's portals.
The company will launch two industry specific B2B portals for the Indian castings / forging industry and the pump industry www.indocastings.com and www.indopumps.com. These portals will be virtual industrial complexes for the concerned industries, and are planned to be fully functional by the third quarter of this year, a company press release said. - Our Bureau.
